Energy Healing Arts:
Reiki and Seichim reiki are 2 types of energy healing arts available today and gaining popularity as holistic complementary therapies. Ancient Chinese and Indian healing arts believe that one's life force (Ki) is essential in maintaining a balance in the mind, body and spirit. When the 'ki' or 'chi' is depleted through illness or trauma (e.g. stress, depression), Reiki and Seichim can help to restore the balance by stimulating the body's natural energies to replenish and revitalise the energy depleted areas restoring vitality and well being.
Stress related disorders can manifest physically as hair loss, weight loss, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, etc. Both healing arts recognise the benefits of a holistic approach to one's overall well being, so healing takes place on a physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual level. Pain relief and stress reduction through total relaxation with Reiki and Seichim can be achieved after several treatments.
A sense of spirituality and inner peace have been experienced by some as one connects with the 'Source' of Universal Life Energy that flows around all living things. It is from this 'Source' that Reiki and Seichim energies have become available as energy healing arts to benefit mankind and can also be used as a path to spiritual enlightenment. Despite the essence of spirituality, Reiki and Seichim are not types of religions so you do not have to believe in them for the energies to flow and for healing to take place.
Both energies can be 'tapped' in through reiki attunements and be used for healing purposes. Attunements are permanently fixed in one's energy systems to accept and channel these energies to the area of the body that needs healing. One has to remain a clear portal for the energies to flow so one must keep one's intentions pure and be guided by the healing energy. The Reiki principles and affirmations helps one to stay in the path of light when embracing, breathing and living Reiki on a daily basis.
What to expect:
A gentle, non-invasive laying of hands hovering over one's body energy centres. You will be fully clothed, lying down or sitting down comfortably to soothing background music and be completely relaxed by the end of the session.
Experiencing Reiki and Seichim allows one to connect with one's inner self, breaking the barriers developed by the human ego, resolving conflict and emotional pain, raising one's awareness and consciousness to embrace peace and harmony within one's life.
Reiki and Seichim therapy should be used as a complement and not substitute for medical treatment. You must not stop taking your prescribed medication.
